About NPU: Located in Xi'an, Shaanxi, Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) is a multi-disciplinary, research-oriented, and open-ended national key university in China that cultivates talents in aeronautics, astronautics, and marine technology engineering. NPU is a national "First-Class" university (A class). A discipline system has been established for the compatible development of subject clusters led by aeronautics, astronautics, and marine technology with 3M (materials, mechanical engineering, mechanics) and 3C (computer, communications, control) along with subject clusters in other sciences, humanities and social science. This system has laid a solid foundation for NPU to build first-class disciplines. According to the Academic Ranking of World Universities, NPU ranks among the top 151-200.

About Kazakhstan Branch Campus of NPU: Kazakhstan Branch Campus of NPU is located in the KazNU campus. It was opened in 2023 jointly by NPU and KazNU with witness by the presidents of China and Kazakhstan. To date, master programs have been launched in three majors: Material Science, Information and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Technology, which are the best or among the best majors in discipline in China.

About the Summer Camp: The Summer Camp lasts for two weeks and consists of many professional lectures, Chinese language and culture courses, as well as visits to the NPU campus, advanced enterprises, and cultural attractions. Many schools/colleges at NPU will be contributing to the success of this program, including the School of Astronautics, School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Computer Science, School of Electronics and Information, and the International College. Participants are expected to gain a deeper understanding of their majors and of Chinese language and culture, and more importantly, experience it firsthand.

Application Procedures

2. After passing the documents review, an invitation letter will be issued for the applicants;

3. Applicants can then go to the Chinese embassies and consulates with the invitation letter and a valid passport to apply for a visa.
