General Introduction: Zhongwei Chen received his Ph.D. degree in materials processing engineering from The Northwestern Polytechnical University of China in 2001 and is now a Professor and doctoral supervisor at the school of materials science and engineering,NPU. From2006 to 2007, he worked as a visiting scholar at Sheffield University of UK. His research interests mainly involve in the Processing of aviation aluminum alloy and light alloys, micro-nano scale characterization of materials. He has about 50 papers included in SCI.
