General Introduction: Chuanyun Wang received his doctoral degree in materials science from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He is a fellow of Chinese Materials Research Society, and has authored or co-authored more than 40 publications. His current research interests lie in the effects of precipitates on the mechanical properties of materials. Selected publications:
